Yes! Attending Reunion

I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone's photos - especially Shawneque's!! Wow - talk about bringing back memories!! I'd forgotten what those uniforms looked like! I have been truly blessed over the years. After working for Casa Ole and Crazy Jose's in Marketing for the majority of my youth - lol, I hired on at MASH / Columbia Hospital and was the marketing director for 3 years before moving on to Buckner Children and Family Services. Words can't describe the joy I have when I see these young lives change right before my eyes as they find hope and healing through this ministry. My boys are both taller than me - HA - just as I saw in your photos Kurt, Paul and Shirley!! Looking forward to seeing all of you.

School Story:

Hmm...I loved Friday night football games...and even the long and hot days of standing at attention with sweat pouring down our faces and not being able to flinch! Stretching muscles on that hot pavement outside the gym was torture, but being a part of such a great group made it all worthwhile. I have so many great memories, but the funniest was when Karen (can't remember her last name) shoved Cynthia's books off her desk and I stood up trying to keep the peace...she caught me by surprise and punched me twice before I knew I was hit. I was still smiling when she hit Mrs. Smallwood and I guess I just lost it. That was my one and only fight. She bit me on my cheek and I told everyone I had to get a rabies shot - sorry Karen, if you're out there! And in Mrs. Bost's class, Kurt and Paul would lead the class in throwing pencils in the air and they'd stick in the ceiling tiles and fall right in the middle of her teaching...and spit balls were flying.. She'd get so frustrated! Remember when K & P switched classes for the day - and almost got away with it!? Then there was the time we went around town collecting "for sale" signs to put at the school...but I was sick the night we were going to do that and for sale signs stayed on the side of my house for so long bcuz I didn't know what to do with them...we sure had a lot of fun!!
