I am sooo excited about the reunion. I wasn't planning on going but got on the phone with Shawneque and that was all she wrote. I'm really looking forward to seeing everybody! I really haven't changed that much. Still loud as ever! I embarrass Katie alot!! I think it's funny. Anyways we have fun and enjoy life the best we can. My oldest Megan is going to be 22! I can't believe it!
Until I see you all again be safe and live laugh and love.

It is fun reading all of your responses! I, too, thank the reunion committee for the love and effort that you've put forth for our class and this reunion. I am looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion.

In answer to your question, Rhonda, I'm afraid my wooden rifle was busted into a thousand pieces by the end of our senior year -- held together by lots o' electrical tape --so I won't twirling anything at the pep rally. All I have left of my rifle are fond memories of 2 black eyes from getting smacked in the face by mine or someone else's rifle.

See you all there.

Hello Class Mates this is Aaron Hunter:

I am a man of very few words and humble but something touched my heart. After I left school and got into the real world you meet people that you think are your friends but you learn the hard way that they really are not your friends. But for you all that I went to school with, we might of argued or fuss sometimes but that did not mean that we did not Love one another. Seeing you all really gave my heart joy that I had not seen in 25 years since we left school in 1983. I want you ALL to know that each of you have became a big part of my heart, I LOVE YOU ALL and GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU. I hope that we all stay in touch with one another. Oh and BTW Janet and all who made this ReUnion possible you all done a GREAT JOB Well done A+.

To my fellow Buffaloes, where do I begin? The peprally was ginormous. I didn't think that many people would be there. I was so excited I started getting bubble guts(nervous.) The crowd received us so well for a moment I thought it was 1983 all over again. Some of you all I had not seen since 1983 and it was a blessing to get reaquainted. Everyday was so exciting I didn't think it could get any better until Sunday. For those of you who missed it, I just want to say it was a true spiritual encounter. I praise God for manifesting His presence at Central Park. I'm sure the glory cloud was above the building. His word says that wherever two or three are gathered together in His name that He is in the midst and that He was. The singing, the Word preached(taught???) and the prayers were just AWESOME. May we continue to take this reunion and carry it in our hearts. Let us always remember this one. I pray God's speed to everyone and lest He delay His coming until we see each other again, be blessed in and out of season. Don't forget to share the videos and pictures.

Hello Classmates,

I am really happy that I attended our 25th Class Reunion.. Moving from the little farm community of Wabbaseka Arkansas to the big city of Beaumont Texas in my senior year was really hard. Having to make new friends and trying to fit in was a lot to ask. I had not attended any of the previous reunions because I did not feel that I was part of the class, but by the time the reunion was over this past weekend I felt like I was part of the class and really had a great time. Kudos to the committee that put all of this together you guys did an excellent job. I am looking forward to the next one.

God Speed

GREETINGS CLASSMATES! I BEGIN BY THANKING THE PLANNING COMMITTEE FOR AN OUTSTANDING JOB! THE CLASS OF 1983 SHOULD BE EXTREMELY PROUD OF IT'S LEADERS AS WELL A THEIRSELVES. WE ALL LOOK MARVELOUS! I THANK YOU ALL THAT ATTENDED FOR BEING SO WONDERFUL. IT WAS A LITTLE TOUGH BEING THE MYSTERY CLASSMATE BUT IT ALL CAME TOGETHER. THE CLASS OF 1983 SPIRIT REMAINS THE BEST OF THE BEST. TO ALL THE LADIES AND GENTS THAT HUNG OUT AND TALKED TO ME UNTIL YOU FIGURED OUT WHO I WAS. I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH. I FELT SO WELCOM AND HAVE NOT LAUGHED AND CLOWNED SO MUCH WITH ADULTS IN A LONG TIME. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT MISSED IT START PLANNING FOR THE 30TH. GOD'S BLESSINGS TO ALL OF OUR CLASSMATES AND I CAN'T WAIT TO BE WITH YOU AGAIN. GO BUFFS!!!!!!!!!

Wow, how in the world do you describe God's willingness to allow you to experience a little bit of Heaven! This 25th year reunion was incredibly fantastic! Janet Hope Williams, Stephanie Belony-Battles, Corliss Davenport, Shawneque Butler-Guillory, Russell Smith and Kenneth Goolsby did an outstanding job in planning, informing and executing this reunion. Each day was filled with love and beauty. By the end of the day we were so exhausted we just wanted to rest, but the upcoming events were even more exciting than what we had previously done. This is my first reunion; but you can best believe that it will not be my last!! The buffalo stampede came to town on Wednesday and we did not ease up until Sunday.
The class of 1981 and 1982 were great hosts. They were the first to show up and the last to leave. You guys are awesome.
In my typical philosophical fashion, I must say that "Love is what love does". The reunion officers, the class of 1981 and 1982 did for us what we should do for others - LOVE ONE ANOTHER!!
Seeing some of my classmates, teammates, and bandmates brought me back down the halls. I remember when our basketball team won district that year. We went on to play in the regional rounds and lost but the memories of that experience will live forever.
The lessons of Mrs. Smallwood have reached throughout a lifetime and I got the opportunity to share it with a great group of people - the Class of '83!!!!

Be blessed and I am so proud to be a member of the class of 1983 from French High School. Go Buffs!!

I've been reading everyone's posts, and I'm so glad we have this website (Thanks Shawneque). I was overwhelmed when I saw some classmates and family members because it has been so long! I had the best time I've had in a long time. Everyone looked beautiful, especially on the cruise in white. My girls were at the dance and they were so excited to see so many people with so much love for each other, classmates no less. Children don't see that in school today. We are the example and we are a good one! I can't wait to see everyone together again! I want to Thank you officer's once again, our hosts too, you guys are the best and it showed!

Well hello all...I have been reading all of the responses about the 25th Reunion. I wish I would have stumbled across this website sooner. Well now that I have found it, I will keep looking at it for updates on the next one. I haven't seen anyone from High School in so long. To busy traveling around I guess. Well hope to see you all real soon.

Hi everyone,
I know I wasn't close to a lot of you, but some of us go alllllllll the way back to Martin. Some maybe before then, to that white building that used to be next to Lincoln that was our headstart building. I just want you all to know that I miss the good old days and y'all too. School was such a simple time(even though we didn't realize it). I am thankful for those who came into my life. Some good and some not so good. I believe my experiences with you all helped form my life, even if only in a small way. I know that I would not be the person I am today had it not been for some of my experiences early on in life. Some of you were good friends even if we weren't best buds. Sometimes I just sit and reminisce onthing that happened in school, like when Cyd first came to Lincoln with those two fake ponytails bouncing all over the place, or how much Rhonda Dean hated that Lenny Williams song with Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh in it (can't think of the name of it). Guess I sometimes get to feeling nostalgic. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and thanks, even to those who were too snooty to acknowledge those who weren't part of 'their' crowd.

Greetings Everyone!

I trust your year has started off well. It is so cold
here. I must be getting older my tolerance for this cold is very short.

Thinking of you all and pray you are well. Please keep in touch. Maybe I can feel a little of
that Texas warmth and make it through winter.

HELLO MATES. HOPE ALL IS WELL IN YOUR WORLD. RECENTLY RETIRED FROM THE AIR FORCE (1 OCT 09) AFTER 21 YEARS OF SERVICE. WOW! TIME FLIES WHEN YOU'RE HAVING FUN. FINALLY, I CAN SEE HOW THE CIVILIAN LIFE WORKS. IT'S NOT THE SAME HAVING TO PAY OUT OF YOUR POCKET WHAT THE MILITARY NORMALLY PAYS. IT'S GREAT BEING FROM TEXAS AND NOT HAVING TO PAY STATE TAXES. NOW, I HAVE TO PAY FEDERAL AND STATE TAXES FOR LIVING IN DC. SPOILED FOR TOO LONG.
HAD TO BUY SLACKS AND SHIRTS, PLUS DRY CLEANING. THIS IS CRAZY. ALL RIGHT ENOUGH COMPLAINING. BUT, FOR MY MILITARY MATES WHO WILL RETIRE SOON GET STARTED AT LEAST A YEAR OUT PREPARING FOR THE TRANSITION. FORTUNATELY, IT WORKED OUT FOR ME, BUT NOW I CAN'T USE THE STANDARD MILITARY EXCUSE "I'M GOING TRAINING", TO GET AWAY FOR A FEW WEEKS WITH MY MILITARY BUDDIES. HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE CENTRAL-OZEN GAME NEXT WEEK.

Hey guys! Getting my daughter ready for her Senior year so I wanted to take a look back at mine. I enjoyed going through the pics from yrs past and the 25th, seeing some familiar faces and reading your comments. Thank all of you who have taken time out of your busy schedules to share with other Buffs! Nothing is better than seeing how much we have accomplished as a class and as adults. It was said best in our song ".....And in time, and in time, we will ALL be STARS." FHS 83
